In the Rivne region rescuers trained citizens the basic rules of fire safety in the home
12 February with the aim of preventing fires, improving fire protection housing and teaching people the rules of fire safety in the home employees of the Rivne regional management of GU gschs of Ukraine in Rivne region conducted testing of residential sector in the Central part of Rivne. For RAID groups, except the employees of the state Service of emergency situations, including the employees of housing and communal enterprises “ecosystem”, social workers, and law enforcement. During testing experts visited the apartments of residents in terms of fire safety refer to the high-risk group: lone elderly, disabled persons, large families, and citizens who abuse alcohol and dysfunctional family. Rescuers told citizens about the examples of fires in the regional centre and their causes, and also reminded home owners the basic rules of fire safety in the home, in particular when using electric heaters and gas appliances. All citizens were given leaflets, posters, pam’memo with the rules of fire safety and life safety. Rescue service Rivne region appeals to all citizens to be careful and cautious in dealing with fire and when using the heating, electrical and gas appliances.
