Chernivtsi: "Time and still not healed the wound – this eternal pain of Afghanistan"
the employees of the Department of social adaptation, personal and communal center “Concern” and library branches 1 BMF "Centralized library system" held a meeting wards of Department of social adaptation "Care" with representatives of the regional Union of veterans of Afghanistan to 27-th anniversary of withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan "Time and still not healed the wound – this eternal pain of Afghanistan". The meeting was attended by our countrymen, the members of the Union of Afghan veterans Basil Herman, Dmitry Lakomski, Dmitry Verega, George Pijawka, Alexander Ioan, Igor Skvortsov, Yuri Lozyuk, Secretary of the Union of veterans of Nelly Pijawka. A minute of silence they paid tribute to the victims of Bukovina, remembering them by name. Lyrics, songs, videos,sounded at the meeting, did not leave anybody indifferent, having once again reminded how brutal the war was. And now our Afghans defend the unity of Ukraine. From the Union of veterans of Afghanistan in the library and community centre "Care" awarded book of poems of Vyacheslav Chinkara, the participant of operations in Afghanistan, gentleman of honourable distinction "Bukovina", "Maybe recently, maybe long ago". Ward of the Department of social assistance at home of Alexander Long, of the participant of hostilities in Afghanistan (1972-1975 gg), i group disabled persons, employees of the center visited at home and presented food set.
