February 15, Ukraine celebrates the Day of honoring participants of battle actions on territory of other States. in units of the State service of Ukraine for emergency situations there are many of those who participated in hostilities on the territory of other States. There are rescue units in the Ternopil region. Among them – the participants of peacekeeping missions in the republics of Afghanistan, Nagorno-Karabakh, Czechoslovakia, Kuwait, Iraq, Lebanon, Sierra Leone, Kosovo. A lot of them are already in retirement and many remain in the ranks. On the eve of the Day of honoring participants of battle actions on territory of other States and on the occasion of the 27th anniversary of withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan in the Management of SSES of Ukraine in Ternopil region held a solemn meeting, attended by former soldiers-internationalists. In a solemn ceremony were the words of respect and gratitude. On the occasion of pam’atno to give the combatants presented diplomas and awards. At the end of the meeting all participants watched a film dedicated to soldiers-internationalists.
