Volyn region: rescuers warn citizens not to burn dry vegetation
With the onset of dry weather has increased the likelihood of fires of dry vegetation. Fires cause considerable damage to the environment, endanger the life of flora and fauna, and often the people themselves. As a rule, causes huge fires, destroying green areas and cover large areas, become the imprudence of citizens when dealing with fire: intentional burning of a dry grass, fires not extinguished in the woods and childish pranks with fire. The burning of herbs on private land, territories and lands are threatened throwing of fire to adjacent areas. Therefore, during the mining settlements bulk-rose’annually work with everybody to prevent such fires. So, on 15 February, the staff of the Stone-Kashirsky district Department DSNS Ukraine in the Volyn region conducted preventive work to prevent the burning of dry grass with the locals of the village Cochicine. Rescuers said the citizens that it is worth remembering that the uncontrolled burning of dry vegetation often leads to fires, which can reach the level of an emergency.
