The rescuers call Transcarpathians not to provoke fires in ecosystems

Soon in Transcarpathia, come spring, and with it ’ s warm weather. Therefore, people begin to clean up the estate lots, land and burn dry last year's grass. And to arrange picnics. However, there is a risk of fires in ecosystems. Usually leads to trouble human negligence and violation of elementary norms of fire safety. Lighting fires while relaxing in the woods or last year's burning dry vegetation in his garden, citizens do not think about the fact that by their behavior they are able to cause large-scale fire. At the time of ignition of a dry grass the fire’I can spread to houses and other buildings, thus causing considerable material damage. However, these fires cause irreparable harm to the environment, destroying the fertile layer of the soil. Suffer in such situations, people are forced to inhale toxic fumes containing compounds of lead, mercury and other heavy metals. A hotbed of potential fire can become a forest, where with the arrival of spring Transcarpathians going on a picnic. According to statistics, most fires in forests occurs on Saturday, Sunday and Monday (up to 40% of ignitions). Fire can destroy huge areas of forest, steppe vegetation, habitat of birds and animals. As a result of natural fires, changing the climate, dry riverbeds, disturbed the ecological balance. Notwithstanding the above, the Transcarpathian rescuers urge people to follow the nature rules of fire safety and prevent fires in ecosystems. In the forests and parks of the fires should be spread only on designated areas, in any case not to leave it unattended and mandatory’sure to extinguish before returning home. If you kindle a fire on the yard’, this should be done in calm weather at a distance of at least 15 m from buildings and structures. Let us remind that according to article 77-1 of the code of Ukraine on administrative offences, burning of stubble, meadows, pastures, areas with Prairie, wetland and other natural vegetation and fallen leaves in parks and other green plantations and lawns in the settlements without the permission of bodies of the state control in the field of environmental protection or violations of conditions of such permission – entails administrative responsibility. The offender faces the imposition of a fine on individuals from ten to twenty non-taxable minimum (170-340 UAH), and officials – p’fifty to seventy non-taxable minimum incomes of citizens (UAH 850-1190).
