In Zhytomyr region the vaccination against polio is extended until 27 February
According to the head of Department of mobilization work and special issues of the Department of health regional state administration Sergey Berezovsky, given the insufficient level of vaccination coverage against poliomyelitis of children in certain age groups in the third round (from 2 months to 10 years) and epidemiological situation on the incidence of influenza and SARS, the operational headquarters of the Ministry of health of Ukraine on prevention of circulation actinospore palavras made the decision to extend the III round of polio immunization until 27 February 2016. Now in the field 99 405 thousand vaccinated children aged 2 months to 10 years old children (75,0% of the total number of those who are subject to vaccination).
