International mother language day in Zhitomir
on February 21 on the initiative of Zhytomyr regional Union of poles of Ukraine and with the support of the Department of culture, Zhytomyr oblast state administration, under the patronage of the Consul General of the Republic of Poland in Vinnitsa Tomas Olenchka hosted events dedicated to the International mother language day. In Zhitomir the event began with a festive Liturgy at the Cathedral Church of St. Sofia. The Regional puppet theatre students of the school and the Polish Saturday-Sunday schools of Zhytomyr, Korosten, Olevsk, Horosho village (Volodarsk-Volynsk) wrote the books "Master of the Polish spelling". The winners were awarded memorable prizes, and in summer they can relax in Poland. In the auditorium of the theatre Academy was held with the participation of national-cultural societies of the poles, Armenians, Czechs and Germans. The event included presentations by students of the Polish Saturday-Sunday school at ASPU and guests of Zhytomyr oblast Armenian community "Erebuni".
