In the Zhytomyr region rescuers have warned citizens not to go out on the thin ice

In connection’connection with the fluctuation of temperatures (slight frosts at night and fever in the afternoon) throughout the territory of Ukraine the thickness of ice on water about’objects is minimal. For this reason the output on the ice and fishing pose an unusual and extraordinary threat to life and health’I people. Since the beginning of this year rescuers have already recorded 52 cases of death of people on reservoirs, of which 6 are children. Despite all the warnings of rescuers and tragic statistics, ladyproducher to go out on thin ice, thereby risking their own lives. In 2016, SSES units on bodies of water saved 161 people, of whom 27 children. Therefore, for the purpose of prevention of emergencies on water bodies in all regions of the country continue information-rose’annual raids. During such events, experts of gschs of Ukraine with attraction of representatives of mass media visited places of fishing and spend time with citizens of the preventive conversations, tell them about danger on thin ice, handed pam’leaflets and warning content. Rescuers demonstrate to citizens how to help in case the man fell through the ice. After all, the ability to help the victim will help to preserve human life. So, for this week such raids were conducted in Poltava, Luhansk, Kherson, Cherkasy, Sumy, Khmelnytsky, Kyiv oblasts. In addition, on 19 February in the waters of the river southern bug Khmelnytsky rescuers and employees of municipal emergency services worked to rescue people in conditions of ice and floods. During the training session demonstrated various ways to rescue someone who is drowning. In particular, using a life buoy and the end of Aleksandrova, and using the method of rope crossings by boat. To the conduct of the exercise involved 48 rescuers and 7 units of fire and special equipment of gschs. On the same day, on the basis of the municipal enterprise "to the Kremenchug rescue-diving station", were given a comprehensive practical training with specialized rescue services in the city of Kremenchug. During training, rescuers have improved skills for conducting search and rescue victims in the water, medical assistance, deployment of rest and heating of personnel of rescue units at the place of emergency, as well as the organization of work of operational staff on elimination of an emergency situation at the local level. Information and rose’annual raids will be conducted in the future to prevent loss of population in the waters and during winter fishing, teaching people how to act in conditions of emergencies.
