Socially vulnerable citizens can receive free secondary legal aid

Ternopil local centre for providing free secondary legal aid began its work in July 2015. Socially unprotected categories of citizens in this center are provided free legal counsel to represent their interests in civil and administrative litigation, as well as if they are witnesses or victims in criminal vprovadzhennya. For six months in the city centre for free legal aid asked 274 people, of which 202 persons received the rose’explanations and consultations, and 72 - appointed lawyers. The activities of the local centre refers to the territory of Berezhany, Zboriv, Kosovskogo, Pidvolochysk, Podgaetskii, Terebovlia, Ternopil regions and the city of Ternopil. To receive free legal aid have the right: * low-income persons; * persons with disabilities; * participants of military operations (including, it concerns the ATO participants with the appropriate status, and family members of the deceased); * children-orphans, children deprived of parental care, street children, children who may become or have become victims of violence in seven’th; * persons who are subject to the Law of Ukraine «On refugees and persons requiring additional or temporary protection"; * war veterans and persons covered by the law of Ukraine «On the status of war veterans, guarantees of their social protection"; * persons in respect of whom the court considers the case on restriction of civil capacity of physical person; * persons in respect of whom the court considers the case on the provision of psychiatric care in compulsory order. * persons rehabilitated according to the legislation of Ukraine. Reception of citizens is carried out from Monday on n’Friday from 9.00 - 18.00 hrs. By the way, from 1 July 2016, each district center will be established legal aid Bureau, in which everyone will be able to use the electronic services of the Ministry of justice of Ukraine and to receive free primary legal aid - legal information and advice.
