Ternopil: the submission of forms for participation in the program "Students for local government"

"Youth Alternative" in conjunction with a regional partner organization "Union of Youth self-Government" (Ternopil) announces a competition for training of youth in Ternopil regional Council in 2016. This internship is a useful experience for those who want to improve the quality of their qualifications, plans to become a politician, wants to be successful! The goal of the program "Students for local government": ? to provide active, caring young people the opportunity to join in the processes of creation; ? to participate directly in the decision-making processes; ? to gain work experience in local government. Participation requirements - applicants: • Be an undergraduate (3rd - 5th year), undergraduate or postgraduate; • To speak a foreign language; • To understand the contemporary political situation in the country, region, city; • Have analytical skills; The duration of internship is 5 months (March-July 2016). The internship is 20 hours per week Professional activities: • Analysis of legal acts, normative acts of the MLA; • Preparation of analytical reports, development programmes of regions and local programs; • Writing of speeches for members; • Preparation of documents for consideration in the committees, in plenary sessions; • Participation in meetings of commissions and plenary sessions; • Editing legal documents, preparing them for printing; • Translations of legal acts of other countries; • Respond to requests and letters to MPs and other agencies; • Media monitoring. The internship program participants will also have the opportunity to: ? to attend trainings, workshops, and master classes with professionals, meetings with famous politicians, public figures, individuals; ? exchange visits between regions and foreign trips in the framework of other projects; ? the opportunity to write and publish analytical materials; ? to develop analytical skills.
