Volyn region: rescuers have improved their skills in smoke-filled room
Gettimezonename the regional centre and surrounding districts improved their skills of saving people and extinguishing fires in unsuitable for breathing environment. On February 23 in the city of Lutsk rescuers of the region held a practice session in teplogenerator and theoretical test to the State fire and rescue part ¹2 in the street Tarasova. Employees of gschs has been developing and improving skills that help to quickly adapt to changes and overcome daily challenges at work, in extinguishing fires, search for victims, when there are situations when firefighters have to work in smoke filled rooms with high temperature or in the basement with a complex layout. During the exercise the rescuers were tested theoretical knowledge of the methodology for the calculations when the gas and smoke protection service units, the requirements of labor protection. In the exercise involved about 100 personnel of fire-rescue units of the cities of Lutsk, Rozhysche, Kivertsi, pea and village Manevichi.
