22 February at 19:32 in quickly-the coordination center of the Department of State service of Ukraine on emergency situations in the Ternopil region from duty nurse of infectious Department of the Ternopil city children's hospital, it was reported that on the second floor of a three storey building, at the address: Ternopil vul.Clinical, 1A, noticeable odor of an unknown chemical substance that caused short-term discomfort of the respiratory system in patients and duty personnel. The scene went next saving office abnormally-saving part abnormally-saving group of a special purpose, and also operative group of the Ternopol city Department of SSES of Ukraine in Ternopil region. Using the detector "Watch " M" employees of gschs conducted the necessary measurements and found to exceed the level of combustible gases in the room 3 times. From facilities of the office were immediately evacuated 27 people: 12 children, 10 parents and 5 staff offices are located in other departments of the hospital. Conducted exploration of the source of the leak of a chemical is not detected. At 21:15, after ventilation, the concentration of dangerous gases in the air exceeds maximum permissible norms.
