In the winery starts the project "the Creation of a safe inclusive environment in schools and communities"
all-Ukrainian Fund "step by Step" in cooperation with all-Ukrainian public Association "national Assembly of disabled of Ukraine" implements the project "creation of a safe inclusive environment in schools and communities" with the financial support of the Foundation Charles Stewart Mott Foundation (USA) and the Foundation "open society Institute" (London). The project is implemented in 4 oblasts: Vinnytsya, Lviv, Lugansk and Odessa areas. From 29 February to 2 March 2016 in the winery with the support of the Department of education and science of Vinnytsia regional state administration and the Educational-methodical center of psychological service of the education system will be held three-day training workshop on the preparation of moderators. In particular, March 1, the event is planned on the basis of comprehensive school I-III stages No. 10 to the participation in the focus groups of children and teachers working with children with special needs. March 2 – the event will take place on the basis of Vinnytsia regional center of social and psychological rehabilitation of children and youth with functional limitations "Horizon". To work invited representatives of public organizations and heads of educational authorities. The results of the focus groups will form the basis of the Alternative report to the UN Committee on people with disabilities and will be submitted to the Ministry of education and science for inclusion in the national report on the implementation of the UN Convention on people with disabilities, particularly article 24 "Education". This organization has a similar project in Armenia, Slovakia, and helps other countries to prepare reports to the UN Committee on people with disabilities.
