In the Lviv region launched a project called "Identify yourself in the dark", during which police officers will teach students the "road ABC", and the organizers will give the children a bright reflective flicker. The militiamen are convinced that such events are extremely important for the safety of young pedestrians, as well to help students learn rules of behavior on the road. The first meeting under the project took place in the village of Great Doroshev, Zhovkva in the area. The militiamen spoke with the youngest students – students in grades 1-4. Addressing the audience, the head of the organization ’s Public transport security Committee in the Lviv region" Svetlana Snigur, noted that the project started to protect the baby from unpleasant situations on the road. Police major Galina Lemeshko explained to the children how to behave on the street, not to get under wheels of cars. She stressed that many dangers waiting pedestrians in the evening when people become "invisible" for drivers. Therefore, in order to be visible even in twilight, you need to use light-reflecting elements – special ribbons and bracelets. The organizers thought that such "solar" amulets protected the small pedestrians and gave the students a bright reflective flicker. And the kids received from law enforcement helpful stickers with safety rules for children.
