Chernivtsi mayor Alex Kaspruk February 29, met with participants of the festival “VIII Winter Student Republic", which was held from February 26 in Bukovina. The mayor discussed with stubresponse directions of development of Chernivtsi, peculiarities of the development of the strategic plan of city development in modern conditions. It was also noted the importance of implementing budget participation – the process by which the public will have the opportunity to decide how to spend a portion of the city budget and what needs are a priority. During the dialogue, representatives of Poltava, which already approved the regulations on the budget participation, offered Advisory support in the implementation of this mechanism. Also at the meeting discussed measures for the preservation of architectural monuments, the development of infrastructure and implementation of e-government.
