In the Prosecutor's office Zakarpattia region hosted a meeting of the leadership of the Prosecutor's office with a delegation of the Advisory mission of the European Union (KMS) in Ukraine. Advisory mission of the European Union advises and supports appropriate state and law enforcement agencies in the civilian security sector in the conceptual planning and consistent implementation of the reform according to the standards and best practices of the European Union. The delegation of the international organization was represented by the Chairman of the Department of regional cooperation CMS to Moeller (Germany), specialists of the Department of regional cooperation KMS Felix Gautch (Austria), Maarten Groothuizen (the Netherlands), Joachim Peters(Germany)and the assistant of the division of regional cooperation CMS Maryna Budnik(Ukraine). From the Prosecutor's office of area the meeting was also attended by first Deputy Prosecutor of the region Ivan Simon, Deputy Igor and Igor Rymaruk Sendak. The parties discussed the questions of reforming of bodies of Prosecutor's office of Ukraine, including the Prosecutor of the Transcarpathian region, the results of competition for filling vacant posts of heads of local prosecution offices, the characteristics of the application of the criminal procedure law. Also, among other things, they talked about the cooperation of prosecutors with the police, on crime, combating corruption in the region and the trust of the inhabitants of Transcarpathia to the activities of the prosecution authorities.
