In Zhytomyr region continue spring field work
In Zhytomyr region continues the complex of spring field works. As 01.03.2016 year's winter crops have been top-dressed on the area to 50.6 thousand hectares (37% of the production), including 44.3 thousand hectares of winter wheat (40%), 3.5 thousand hectares of winter rye (16%) and 2.8 thousand ha of winter barley (47%). Also am fed up of 5.2 thousand hectares of winter rapeseed (27%). For carrying out of spring field works the agricultural companies acquired: 33,6 thousand tons (69% of the forecast) of mineral fertilizers in active ingredient; 431,7 tons (72%) of plant protection products; 27 tons (100%) seed disinfectants. Available from 3889 tractors actually prepared to work 3802 units (98%), with 1390 plows – 1378 units (99%), with 1490 cultivators – 1467 units (98%) of 618 disc harrow – 603 units (98%) and 1376 seeders – 1362 units (99%). Agricultural enterprises of the region provided with diesel fuel by 51% (4.0 thousand tons) and gasoline by 55% (845 tons).
