Zhytomyr region will expand cooperation with Slovenia
Zhytomyr on March 10, was attended by representatives of the Republic of Slovenia: Ambassador extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Slovenia in Ukraine Natasha prah, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Slovenia in Ukraine Maya Martynenko, Advisor for economic Affairs of the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Ukraine Taras Prytula. In the framework of the working visit, the guests met with representatives of companies in the region, the Zhytomyr chamber of Commerce. The Director of the Department of economic development, trade and international cooperation of the regional state administration Alexey Shatilo noted that such meetings are very important for both sides: "We need to make sure that everyone received the synergies that should yield positive results and give additional impetus to the development of both sides. In our intentions to develop cooperation in all spheres". "Our main objective is the development of economic relations, – said Natasha prah. – I think this is not our last meeting. We want to hear all suggestions, comments, ways of cooperation with our country". Business representatives of Zhytomyr region was not only interested in economic cooperation with Slovenia, but also the opportunity to exchange experience in various fields, such as energy efficiency, timber processing and the like. Mrs. Natasha prah emphasized that, despite the small number of partner enterprises in the Zhytomyr region, Slovenia hopes to expand cooperation and increase trade turnover.
