In Chernihiv region, rescuers conducted a road inspection for the prevention of fires in natural ecosystems
Carelessness of citizens in dealing with fire causes of fire in ecological systems, particularly peat bogs, open areas and forested areas. In this regard, rescuers together with representatives of Executive authorities on places, social protection, law enforcement agencies are taking practical measures to prevent fires for the above reason. March 12, specialists of the Semenov district sector UDSNS in Chernihiv region together with the representative office of the National police conducted road inspection on the territory of the Nikolaev village Council and the city of Semenovka to identify unauthorized waste incineration residues and dry vegetation. During the event the citizens were explained the basic requirements of fire safety rules and observed that the burning of garbage and dry vegetation entails administrative liability in accordance with applicable law. In addition, during the road inspections rescuers and law enforcement authorities handed over citizens of preventive leaflets on safe behavior when in environmental systems.
