Uzhgorod rescuers liquidated a fire on a farm
March 14 at 15:47 in operative-rescue service of Transcarpathia was reported about the fire on the territory of a private farmstead on Parkhomenko street in Uzhgorod. The fire was noticed by the owner of the farm, which carried out electric welding work. The soldiers of the 14th state fire and rescue unit that arrived on the scene found a fire of straw under the external stairs leading to the second floor of a house. Already at 16:04 the fire managed to be localized. Through corruption the final straw elimination of fire lasted for over an hour. Rescuers have completed the straw shed at 17:15. Just in extinguishing the fire were involved 2 vehicles and 8 personnel. The fire destroyed 1 ton of straw and damaged trees’wooden floor balcony of a residential building on an area of 20 sq. m.
