Chernivtsi region: rescuers warn citizens about the dangers of neglecting safety rules

From the beginning of the year in the Chernivtsi region occurred 174 fire that caused residents of the area of damage for total amount about 8 million USD. The fires often cause Bukovina, not respecting the basic rules of fire safety. Therefore, in order to prevent their occurrence, employees of Management of SSES of Ukraine in Chernivtsi region carry out information and rose’explanatory work with citizens. So, on March 15 preventive raids were carried out on Zastavnivsky and Putilskom areas. Rescuers worked with residents who, got Kdubz and Sweatin Zastavnivsky district, town and village Putila, Selyatin Putylskyi area. Just reached over 150 apartments, in which the staff of Management of gschs talked to about 300 persons. The main focus of the rescue workers paid housing elderly, low-income people and large families. The residents of the region told about the safe use of electrical appliances, gas furnace and equipment, adults were reminded of the importance of teaching children the rules of safety and rose’awareness of the dangers of playing with matches and fire. In addition, rescuers told about the danger from burning dry grass, as this year on the territory of Chernivtsi oblast there were cases of fires in ecosystems. So, citizens are reminded that the emergence of dry grass fires is enough of a carelessly thrown cigarette butt or matches or careless handling of fire while the fire going, and it can lead to irreparable consequences: the destruction of buildings, property and personal injuries. In addition, people were presented by pam’commemorative leaflets with fire safety rules when dealing with open fire. Such preventive raids will be conducted in the future. Due to this work, it is possible to prevent the occurrence of fires and, consequently, to reduce material losses and, most importantly, to save human life.
