Khmelnytskyi: the pyrotechnics of the state Service for emergency situations have improved professional skills
from 14 to 18 March the specialists of group of pyrotechnic works and the Department of underwater demining Khmelnytsky rescue of the special forces detachment conducted annual training sessions. Their main goal – improvement of professional skills, because any mistake during the mine clearance could cost human life. Sessions were conducted in two stages. The first pyrotechnics of repeated theoretical basics of his dangerous profession, improved the knowledge of safety measures when dealing with obsolete ammunition, explosives and means of blasting and passed the related tests. The second stage was devoted to developing practical ways to search and munitions clearance, construction of stone, wood, concrete and reinforced concrete, as well as compliance with safety measures when carrying out blasting operations. Regular improvement of professional skill of the pyrotechnists of divers due to the fact that in addition to the areas of responsibility in the Khmelnitsky region, the fixed unit with 8 regions on the identification and destruction of obsolete munitions, which are under water. From the beginning, the group of pyrotechnic works destroyed 193 fatal finds found in Khmelnytsk region.
