Chernihiv region: rescuers held a preventive RAID at places of deposits of peat
last year in Chernihiv in several districts of the region noted the tense situation with fires on the peatlands. Unfortunately, most often the cause of this condition is the human factor, in particular the carelessness of citizens in dealing with fire, and sometimes criminal negligence - the burning of garbage and dry vegetation in open areas and of ecological systems. For the purpose of timely detection of fires of peat, specialists of regional DEPARTMENT Bobrovitskiy AT SSES in Chernihiv oblast on March 17, conducted inspection raids in the places with the greatest risk of fires on the territory of Achinskogo Branicki and rural councils. Rescuers inspected the problem areas and also had rose’annuale preventive work among the population to prevent the burning of dry vegetation on open area, peatlands and in forests. Resulted in the authorities and local governments, interested organizations prepared informational materials on fire safety on the Moors.
