This name has embroidery exhibition of honored master of folk art of Ukraine Mikhail Pacitance (m. Chernivtsi), which opened on 18 March in the front Room of Vinnytsia regional center of folk art. The exhibition "Shevchenko Duma in artistic patterns", now exhibited in the winery, consists of works, among which are unique embroidered towels, interpret the images of Shevchenko "Kobzar". The exhibition – embroidered shirts, towels, napkins, most patterns which developed the master himself. Works made in different techniques of embroidery (cross stitch, depression, stepivka, steblivka, Drawnwork). George Garas. Born on October 6, 1939 in the village Groves Rostocka zborivsky district, Ternopil region, lives and works in Chernivtsi. Biography of the artist is very rich – in 1961 he graduated from the Lviv state University. Franco I. (faculty of geography). For four years he studied at the choreographic courses at the Lviv Opera and ballet theatre and danced in the famous ensemble "Galychyna", where he starred in the film "Shadows of forgotten ancestors". It is a meeting with Sergei Parajanov, the great interest of the filmmaker to the Hutsul region, its customs and traditions, exquisite folk costumes, made then to a young teacher a great impression and have become the impetus for further creativity. Michael Results has one of the largest in Ukraine collection of folk embroidery patterns of Podillya, Bukovyna, Hutsul, Boiko, and Lemko (more than 4 thousand copies).
