The gala opening was attended by Deputy Chairman – Director of the Department of education and science of regional state administration Igor Ivasyuk. To participate in the competition in the winery's profit 84 participants from 25 regions of Ukraine, 29 teachers – team leaders and 28 jury members and the 15 members of the organizing Committee. "The current start of the Olympics is quite symbolic. By the way, in 2015, by its conduct, joined more than 7,000 cities in 172 countries around the world. Among those who supported the event were the mayors of Paris, Hong Kong, Rio de Janeiro, well-known politicians, cultural figures and many others. In Ukraine have joined the campaign more than 50 cities and towns, including Kiev, Odessa, Lviv, Kharkiv, Poltava, and others." – says Igor Ivasyuk, Deputy Chairman – Director of the Department of education and science of the regional state administration. During 5 days the participants will defend their projects to complete assignments theoretical part of the Olympiad, as well as take a tour of the winery. The candidates for victory in the VI all-Ukrainian student Olympiad on ecology – 73 winners of the regional stages. Therefore, to choose the members of the jury will be the best of the best. Solemn closing and rewarding of winners will take place in the auditorium of the SCHOOL I-III stages No. 16 GIR.
