21 March - international day of people with down syndrome. Date of the International day of person with down syndrome was not chosen randomly, this twenty-first day of the third month is associated with 3 copies of the 21st chromosome. For the first time this Day was annually marked since 2006 and was established at the VI international Symposium on down syndrome held in Palma de Mallorca, on the initiative of the boards of European and world associations of Down syndrome. How to be special, to feel a different attitude after his diagnosis was found out by the students of VNU named after Lesya Ukrainka during the campaign, "Lots of socks" that were carried out TION "of the Parents with down syndrome" with the help of the Student Council of VNU named after Lesya Ukrainka. As one of sporgenti shares, studeman of the law faculty Olga Fox, a lot of students and I myself did not know about this day, but immediately responded to the invitation to join such action. My friends are ready to cooperate, just need as much information as possible about the people who need our support and assistance. The students distributed information leaflets on the world day of people with down syndrome and community organizations that help such people, presented the content of the campaign "A lot of sock's" (Lots of socks). Wearing multi-colored socks or chopping them into bags or clothing, you call for attention of others, but it happens only 1 day a year and people with down syndrome live in a field such attention constantly. And, unfortunately, such people are not always welcoming and friendly. In the leisure Center of VNU named after Lesya Ukrainka students were able to communicate directly with representatives of the TION "of the Parents with down syndrome", the participants of the art Studio "Mandarin", parents. Leading the event, Professor V. V. Kolodyazhnaya, said that the aim of the organizers was a desire to show that all solar children illustrate the motto " I am not the syndrome, I'm a child." A very important point of the meeting was the story mom special girl Ulyana Sochaczewska – Tatiana. HER words about community organization, training and socialization of people with down syndrome perceived room. She spoke sincerely and openly about difficult things and those words could not leave indifferent. Co-organizer of the meeting, head of the laboratory of inclusive and special education Kuzava Irina Borisovna told about the peculiarities of implementation of inclusive education in Lutsk and in Ukraine, emphasized the importance of instilling in children, youth, tolerant, sympathetic attitude to people with special needs. It is important that the cage age children don't notice differences or otherness in their peers, this is, unfortunately, not always kindly tell their parents. Guest of the meeting, the Secretary of city Council, Vasenko Yulia Vasilievna, supported the campaign by wearing colorful socks. She stressed that education is very important for the creation of community friendly and caring attitude toward solar children, to their problems. The parents are teamed up to protect the rights of their children and many have been able to do, admiration and respect. And also needs the support of local authorities. Students are familiar with the situation on the labour market in Ukraine, when young people with degrees can't find jobs - said the Kolodyazhnaya V. V. Urgent, unresolved issue is the socialization and labor adaptation of people with down syndrome. The most touching and unifying phase of the meeting was a joint flash mob of children, parents and visitors to the meeting. Only together we can change the world for the better.
