In the Volyn region rescuers urged village officials to cooperate actively to prevent fires in ecosystems
22 March workers Manevychi regional Department of the office DSNS Ukraine in the Volyn region held a working meeting with the chairmen of village and settlement councils of Manevychi district, Volyn region. During the meeting discussed measures to prevent cases of burning of dry vegetation and prevent fires in ecosystems. Rescuers SSES noted that with the onset of warm and dry weather significantly increases the number of fires in forests, on economic grounds, along the highways. Knowingly violating requirements of fire safety, citizens often do not think about how big can be the damage to the environment and for people. Employees of gschs reported that the main reasons for these fires is carelessly thrown a cigarette butt on the side of the road, lit a fire on the spot, and banal burning poses, stressing that the decisive factor for this pattern is that it is the human negligence. In addition, representatives of the SSES noted that under the current legislation officers of the local authorities are obliged to organize training of the population in a residence the fire safety regulations. Each representative of rural and village councils, which in Manevychi district, there are 32 distributed printed materials with rose’anandam fire safety regulations and extracts from the legislation on the liability for unauthorized burning of dry vegetation.
