The state ecological inspection in the Transcarpathian region encourages all not to burn the dry vegetation and be careful when dealing with fire

the spring and many of the owners removing the yards, garden plots, vegetable gardens often burn leaves, tree branches and other trash. Don't even think about what harm is caused to human health and the environment. Because the smoke from the burning grass and leaves are dust, nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide, heavy metals and some carcinogenic compounds. In addition, the process of burning with smoke in the air can release dioxin, a very hazardous to health, because these substances are toxic, stable relative to decay and is able to accumulate in humans and animals. Besides, burning of stubble, dry vegetation and its remains led to the destruction of breeding places of the birds, habitats and finding the animals, only the species composition of flora and fauna, destroys the soil microflora, their structure degrades and impoverishes the soil, strengthens the processes of water and wind erosion of lands, leading to soil degradation and other negative consequences. Therefore, to burn dry vegetation, leaves, household and industrial waste is prohibited. Responsibility for the burning of stubble, pastures, vegetation or debris, and leaf litter on agricultural land, along roads and Railways, in parks, green spaces and lawns in the settlements is provided by article 77-1 of the code of Ukraine about administrative offenses and ranges from 170 to 340 UAH. for citizens and from 850 to 1190 UAH. for officials. the burning of vegetation within territories and objects of natural-reserved Fund shall entail imposition of a fine on citizens from 340 to 680 UAH. and on officials - from 490 to 1700 UAH. For violation of requirements of fire safety in forests article 77 of the Art provides for liability in the form of a fine on citizens from 17 to 51 UAH. and on officials - from 51 to 170 UAH. But if such actions resulted in a forest fire or spread it over a large area, this article provides responsibility in the form of the imposition adminvzyskaniya for citizens from 51 to 170 UAH. and on officials - from 119 to 204 UAH. The state ecological inspection in the Transcarpathian region once again appeals to all countrymen, and calls not to illegally burn dry natural vegetation or its remains, and care for nature, native land and to adhere to the requirements of environmental legislation and fire safety.
