In Ternopil started the work on the development Strategy of Terebovlia communities

16 March 2016 to terebovl'a was attended by representatives of the canadian-Polish company FIM, office of reforms in the Ternopil region and the European Union, together with the city Council to begin work on the development Strategy of Terebovlia GTG. In conference room Terebovlia district Council held a joint conference Terebovlya city Council, chairmen of the joint communities of Ternopil region, the heads of deputies of Terebovlya city Council, members of the Executive Committee of the city Council, representatives of business, NGOs, local activists with guests: Paul Prokop - Chairman of the Board of the Foundation of Managerial initiatives, adviser of the mayor of Lublin (Poland), Miroslav Ideka – Voight Konopka gminas of Lublin Voivodeship (Poland), Bogdan Yurchuk – Advisor to the Foundation of Managerial Initiatives, Victor Litvinchuk – Director of the Office of reforms in the Ternopil region, The team Pndt – senior adviser on reform of decentralization of the Danish Association of municipalities, Sergey Maksimenko – adviser on regional development. The conference was chaired by mayor Sergei Cross. He was invited to the word in turn of each of the experts that came to our city to indicate to the public the concept of strategy of development of society, its importance in the future implementation of reforms of decentralization and cooperation with Western partners, who have long used strategic planning in the development of communities. The idea was that by funding various development projects, the EU focuses primarily on this strategy and identifies the priority is those developments that are tangent, or directly included in the strategic plans of the company and not Finance detached, unsubstantiated projects. The conference Terebovlia Deputy mayor Lyudmila Kolesnik presented to all the participants "Presentation of the city Terebovlia GTG and planning strategies for its development". This presentation includes how various statistical data on the community and information on available natural resources, historical and cultural heritage, housing agencies and city Council and their technical support, information on education, tourism advantages of the region, the achievements of the community and its issues, development priorities, and the like. In conclusion, the participants had the opportunity to talk with speakers – experts of the foreign States in respect of various issues on decentralization, and those willing to share the experience of both Polish and Danish reforms. The next stage in the development of Terebovlia GTG should be a broader discussion with the community, joint study on priority needs and potential of our GTG and adaptation of the European model of strategic document according to established priorities.
