In the Rivne region on a visit to the rescue came the students of the College
23 March on a visit to the employees of the 1st state fire and rescue unit of the city of Rivne came the students of the Rivne cooperative Economics and law College. During the meeting the rescuers told the students about the basic rules of fire safety and life safety during the spring period. Employees of gschs reminded students of the main factors of risk that are typical this time of year, and the order of actions in case of threat to life. Special attention was paid to prevention of emergence of fires in natural ecosystems, as well as about the rules of safe behavior in case of detection of explosive devices or suspicious items that could be used for terrorist purposes. On completion of the theoretical classes, the workers of gschs familiarized students with fire equipment, rescue equipment and arming of a lifeguard, told what equipment and tools are used in different cases, provided information about the characteristics and capabilities of emergency equipment. Everyone had the opportunity to try on a suit of a firefighter and sit behind the wheel of a car fire. Each person present rescuers have distributed specially designed leaflets and thematic pam’checklists of preventive maintenance. Also fighters of gschs answered questions from students and told interesting stories from the lives of operative-rescue service.
