Lutsk: open competitions on sports orientation "GRANIT CUP"
19-20 March 2016 near the town of Korostyshiv, Zhytomyr region, was held the open competitions on sports orientation "GRANIT CUP". Competitors demonstrated their skills in orienteering on the course of competition in a given direction. The competition was attended by athletes from 14 regions of Ukraine. Among the participants was the team of students of the Volyn region, which was comprised of 4 athletes Lutsk. The competition was held in different age groups among boys and girls, and it was summed up by the amount of time the two competition days. As an intermediate launch before the important competitions, the opponents showed good results: Gupalo Olga – III place and Petroczuk Denis – 5th place (Gymnasium ¹ 14 im. Vasily Sukhomlinsky, coaches Luchko I. A., D. P. Petroczuk), Christina Miller – 8th place (teacher Sergey Fomin I-II St. # 11 - College, the coach wojtowicz V. M.) Maksim Lishchuk – 19th place (UCMJ No. 9, coach of Gutsalenko VI). I would also like to note that as an example to their pupils, the competition was attended by their coaches and showed the highest results: Irina Voytovich – i place (the head of the circle of CTSCAN), Taras Melnik - i place (the head of the circle of CTSCAN), Petroczuk Dmitry - 8th place (Methodist, CTSCAN).
