First degree awarded 6 participants of all-Ukrainian Olympiad on ecology (photo)
13 and 18 participants awarded with diplomas of the second and third degrees, respectively – a total of 50% of the total number of students. Rewarding of winners and laureates of the Olympiad was held on 25 March in a secondary school I-III stages No. 16 of Vinnytsia city Council. With a salutatory word to participants addressed the first Deputy Director of the Department of education and science of Vinnytsia regional state administration Elena Black: "First of all, I want to Express my gratitude to all the participants. Your participation is evidence that environmental problem is not alien to you. You expressed a desire to contribute to its solution, and it is a Mature and courageous decision. You are a new generation that will take care of nature, which will help heal that will find a way to live in harmony with it. Thank you for participating and congratulations on winning". Young students were welcomed by the Chairman of the jury, Professor of the Department of genetics of the Kiev national University. Shevchenko Vladimir Bezrukov: "These days were tense, not only for the participants but also for the jury. It was a pleasure and fun to work with you. Working together, we learned a lot. Thanks to the participants and the jury for the good work". According to the Chairman of the jury determined the candidates for participating in the qualifying sessions, the top two participants will have the opportunity to represent Ukraine at the International Olympiad on ecology in Tbilisi (Georgia). Next year participants of the VII all-Ukrainian Olympiad on ecology to welcome Sunny Transcarpathia.
