In Vinnytsia region planted almost 70% of early grain and leguminous crops

With the projected area of sowing of early grain and leguminous crops – 99,6 thousand hectares, sown – 67,9 thousand hectares (68,2 % of the forecast), including: - spring wheat with the projected area of 12.0 thousand hectares of sown – 7.8 thousand hectares (64,7 %); - spring barley with a projected area to 78.3 thousand hectares, sown – 52.4 thousand ha (67,0 %); - oats with a projected area of 2.1 thousand hectares sown to 1.2 thousand hectares (56,7 %); - peas with the projected area of 7.0 thousand ha of sown – 6.4 thousand hectares (91.9 per cent). In addition, farmers of the region have started sowing maize for grain, sugar beet and sunflower. Corn for grain projected area USD 309.8 thousand hectares, planted 100 ha (0,03 % of the forecast). Sugar beet with the projected area of 50,0 thousand ha sown – 195 ha (0,04 %). Sunflower seeds with projected area 185,8 thousand hectares sown to 50 ha (0,03 %). Winter crops for grain have been top-dressed on the area of 421,1 ha (95,9 %), including winter wheat – of 369.0 thousand hectares (95.7 per cent), winter barley – 49.4 thousand ha (96,6 %), winter rye – 2.7 thousand ha (100 %). Winter rape fueled 45,3 thousand hectares (85,5 %) and 62.0 thousand ha (74,1 %) of perennial grasses. Note: the corresponding date last year, early grain and leguminous have been sown in the area – 24,4 thousand hectares, including: spring wheat and 3.5 thousand ha, spring barley – by 17.6 thousand hectares, oats – 1,2 thousand hectares and peas to 2.0 hectares.
