Public figure Vladimir Hi, in his speech focused on the role played by Vyacheslav Chornovil in the history of independent Ukraine, spoke about his thorny path of struggle for the formation of our statehood. He remembered how on this day 17 years ago, Ukraine has lost unconquered fighter of the Ukrainian national idea. Vyacheslav Chornovil died in a car accident at Boryspil highway near Kyiv on March 25, 1999. Venomous memory of the Ukrainian politician and public figure, representatives of “National movement” said his noble and many-sided activity, way of life, Patriotic and indomitable fighting spirit. Their friendly relations with the family of Vyacheslav Chornovil said the Chairman of the Volyn branch of the Union of Ukrainian women Love Haneychuk.
