Monday, March 28, in Lutsk held a public discussion of the initiative changes the location of the monument to the conductor of the OUN, the Hero of Ukraine to Stepan Bandera. The event will be held in the exhibition hall "the Artist" Palace of culture in Lutsk . Starting at 17:00. Eight years have passed since the adoption of the decision by the city authorities regarding the establishment of a monument to Stepan Bandera in Lutsk. However, due to a badly chosen location and limited funding, the initiative has not been implemented to date. A high level of dissatisfaction among the residents of the city called the place of the monument – near the registry office on the Avenue of Unity, 18. The Deputy of the Lutsk city Council, the head of "people's control" Volyn Paul danilchuk offers to erect a monument to Stepan Bandera in place of the bust of Communist Boyko - in the Central part of Lutsk, Lesya Ukrainka street, 24.
