On March 25, was held the opening of youth sports school in the city of Berdichev. The event was attended by Chairman of Zhytomyr regional state administration Sergey Mashkovsky, administration and residents of Berdichev. At different times of its operation, the school pupils were engaged in adapted to practice spaces. In 2014 at the expense of co-financing from the state and local budgets was started the reconstruction of the premises of a former cinema in the city centre. The total cost of the works amounted to 5 million 315 thousand 148 UAH. As part of the funds (2 million 890 thousand UAH 799.) was allocated from the State Fund of regional development and construction should take place within the established time schedule, Sergey Mashkovsky personally supervised the progress and pace of work. Successful reconstruction of the school without a doubt is a good project for the image not only of Berdichev and the whole Zhytomyr region", - said Sergey Mashkovsky. The head of the region stressed that although difficult times of the formation of our country is experiencing but the recovery of social institutions is one of the priority tasks of government. "Last year at the expense of DFR we started the reconstruction of 12 schools, 2 cultural institutions, 3 institutions of sport. In 2016, funds from the state Fund aimed at supporting social facilities. The construction, reconstruction, complex terminate 11 schools, 4 preschools, 5 hospital institutions, as well as reconstruction of the 2 sports facilities", - he stressed.
