In Khmelnytsky oblast, the civil defense conducted a joint drill
on March 23-24 in Derazhnya has held command and staff exercises of local level territorial subsystem unified state system of civil protection. The event was attended by employees of the State service for emergency situations, management of civil protection of the regional state administration, police, disaster medicine and other specialized services. The main aim of the exercises was to check readiness of management bodies and forces of civil protection of the area for action in case of emergencies. So the exercise was observed by representatives of the relevant departments not only Derajnenska district, but neighboring districts: Starobinskoe, Vinkivtsi, Letychiv, Khmel'nickogo and Almalinskogo. The exercise was held in two stages: first, theoretical part, practical and then practical exercises. Worked out the issues of evacuation of population from neighboring areas. The arrival of the first echelons with evacuated population (approximately 2000 people) to the railway station Derazhnya expected at 10:00, the reception and accommodation of evacuees will be implemented on the territory of the district schools. Before the arrival of evacuees of the station area station Derazhnya was fenced, provided protection of a public order local police. The workers of the railway station met evacuated the population and use the speaker had instructed, the medical staff were ready to assist if necessary. Registration of citizens was held in the educational complex No. 2. Accommodation of migrants was based on Valassko NPK teaching staff of the institution. The teachers are so imbued with the issue of resettlement that followed all evacuated to prevent the occurrence of abnormal situations. After a two-day exercise all delegations were held in the boardroom of the administration, where was held the summarizing.
