Militiamen exposed the activities of the 17 casinos in Vinnitsa
Yesterday the Prosecutor's office of area together with employees of the Main departments of the National police and DFS in Vinnitsa region with the participation of public activists revealed 17 institutions that were masked under the guise of lotteries. For last days in these institutions were conducted authorized searches, where law enforcement officers seized more than 600 pieces of gaming equipment and 50 000 hryvnia. Among the arrested property comp’computer equipment - system units, monitors, konsulin (gaming) keyboards, routers, cash registers, recorders. Now militiamen establish the persons involved in the organization and operation of gambling establishments. The searches were conducted in the framework of criminal proceedings opened under part 1 of article 203-2 of UK of Ukraine (occupation gambling). For such an offence is punishable by a fine of UAH 170 thousand to 680 thousand UAH, with confiscation of gambling equipment.
