In Khmelnytsky oblast rescuers deployed a detachment to exercise to eliminate emergency

March 25 on-site technical fortifications «Russian Brahma", in G. Kam’Kamianets-Podilskyi was held on the deployment of the Solution’Kamianets-Podilskyi consolidated unit No. 2. The training was attended by mayor Michael Simashkevich, the management of head Department gschs, Kam’Kamianets-Podilskyi rescuers, employees of the demining Center of the Ministry of defence of Ukraine, the group salvage rescue detachment of special purpose, the students of the military Lyceum and students of the city. Last enthusiastically watched the events that rapidly unfolded before their eyes. Head of group Oleg Ivanyuk noted that on the tactical plan, in the waters of the river Smotrych due to the breakthrough of cascade, heavy rains and flooding houses an emergency. Therefore, at seven o'clock signal sounded «Collection-crash", which was promptly assembled personnel. In place of the conventional emergency deployed tent city, where were the points staff meeting, the accommodation of personnel, food, cooking, medical and psychological assistance. Simultaneously there was the evacuation and rescue of people the river with the use of combat reconnaissance patrol vehicles (BRDM). From the basements of flooded houses, rescuers pumped water and the victims could receive qualified medical care. In addition, the participants reviewed emergency rescue equipment fire and rescue units. Most struck bedsores with which help rescuers cope with the consequences of the accident, pneumopathy and hydraulic shears, as well as three-meter-high lighting tower, covering 500 sq m surrounding area. Also firemen liquidated a conditional fire, when extinguishing the fire which gave stationary and portable monitors, which are used for extinguishing fires at large distances. On the deployment location of the detachment also worked the point of special treatment where there was degassing of the car which spent working in a dangerous chemical environment. With great interest children looked at the equipment pyrotechnic separation of the mine action Centre. Engineers demonstrated the modern equipment, in particular, the measuring robot, the range of which up to one kilometer. The robot’moves down to the munition, it pulls out, moves to another place and the like. The main advantage of this latest equipment is a life saving pyrotechnics. The participants also learned about improvised explosive devices, which are most often encountered by people in a zone of carrying out anti-terrorist operations, and other munitions found in the territory of our region after active hostilities during the Second world war. Not left without attention of the pupils and the canine unit, trained dogs which are trained to identify the smell of explosives. At the end of the training all tasted the porridge of the field and warmed up with hot tea.
