Region: save the forest from fire!
On the eve of may and Easter holidays has already become a good tradition to carry out the cleaning of the forest. And today is no exception. So Lviv regional forestry and hunting of March 26 was held “the Forest is not a dumping ground”. Until the project has joined rescuers, who addressed the workers of a forest area and noted major problems with regard to forest. Rescuers focused on a ban of bonfires and the burning of residues of dead wood in the forest and near forests. Because most often, fires in natural ecosystems arise from human negligence and carelessness. The large-scale fire can have negative consequences for the environment and for people: call the fire buildings, forest plantations, destroy power lines, gas and oil pipelines. Firefighters urge citizens to observe fire safety rules near forests, in open areas and during harvesting of small plots. We remind you that the unauthorized burning of dry vegetation or its remnants provides for administrative and criminal liability. Such actions threaten the environment and pose danger to people's lives.
