Professional football in Zhytomyr region!
Recently, on 15 March 2016, the Zhytomyr regional state ADMINISTRATION Zhytomyr regional Council and Zhytomyr city Council signed a Memorandum of cooperation to support the development of football in the region for 2016-2020 The aim of cooperation is to unite the efforts of local governments, Executive authorities, educational institutions, enterprises, institutions, organizations of all forms of ownership, public organizations and citizens in ensuring favorable conditions for further development of football. As a result of implementation of the Memorandum is expected to: * the introduction of affordable, high-quality and various forms of Wellness, rehabilitation and sports services to the public; * the increase of the population for leisure activities and a healthy lifestyle; * constructing a full pyramid of football development in the city (from youth to the team of professionals); * creating the necessary conditions for the development of professional football; * improvement of system of preparation of players for worthy participation in regional, national and international competitions; * align with the requirements of UEFA stadiums in the city. The document also provides for the introduction in secondary schools of lessons of football. The parties shall make every possible effort for further development of cooperation and to ensure involvement of a wide range of actors both at the regional level and urban.
