In Zhytomyr region the Supreme court upheld the arrests of land in the area of Hydropark
the appeal of the Prosecutor's office of Zhytomyr region the resolution of the Supreme specialized court of Ukraine for civil and criminal cases admitted and granted a motion for stay of execution of decisions of courts of previous instances in terms of taking measures to secure the claim until after the review of complaints concerning unlawful granting of forest Fund lands. As previously reported, 78 citizens in the area of Hydropark and Zhytomyrvodokanal illegally transferred to private ownership for gardening over 10 ha of land for forestry purposes, which were in continuous using of GP "Zhitomir military forestry". Illegal allocation of plots to individuals and construction on the territory of forest Fund lands has caused significant outcry and outrage. To stop illegal use of forest lands, the Prosecutor's office announced the lawsuit. However, the courts of first instance and appeal in satisfaction of claim requirements it is refused, a ban on the construction and alienation of property cancelled.
