Zhytomyr region: the region is preparing for the spring holidays and landscaping

To ensure the maintenance of the territory of settlements of the region in good condition, the creation of favorable conditions for life of citizens, improving environmental status and architectural and aesthetic appearance of objects, as well as preparation for the celebration of spring holidays in the Zhytomyr region will take steps to sanitary cleaning and an accomplishment of territories. The corresponding order was signed by the Chairman of Zhytomyr regional state administration Sergey Mashkovsky from 24.03.2016, No. 78. According to the document, with 28.03.2016 on 15.05.2016 year to last month's campaign "For clean environment" to bring in a proper sanitary condition of settlements, the implementation of measures on elimination of illegal dumps, household and other wastes, cleaning and bringing in a proper sanitary condition of courtyards, parks, squares, playgrounds, sports and business sites, cemeteries, mass graves, memorials and places of honor, of streets, roads, sidewalks, and ensure the cleanup of the banks of ponds and green spaces in General, limited and special purpose. Work on sanitation, to put in proper condition cemeteries, mass graves, memorials and places of honor must be completed by the holding of memorial days. Uniform day – Thursday. In the framework of the Day of beautification 23.04.2016 year will be the action on an accomplishment of territories of cultural heritage. Special attention will be given to the landscaping of cultural heritage (buildings, constructions, their complexes, individual graves and cemeteries, mass grave sites of the dead and the dead soldiers (including foreigners) who died in the wars, as a result of deportation and political repressions on the territory of the region, the place of combat, memorable places connected with important historical events, life and activities of famous people, culture and lifestyle of people but also monuments of archeology, history and monumental art).
