29 March at 17:29 in Service of rescue "101" received a report of a house fire in the village of Chernihiv district khalyavin. On the scene promptly arrived the fire Department and rescue unit with m. Chernihiv. Considering the complexity of the situation, because the flame almost completely engulfed the building, additionally it attracted another branch of the fire Department. Just on the scene worked 8 personnel and 2 units of fire and rescue equipment. The fire at 18:15 was localized, and in 19:35 - is liquidated. During extinguishing in the building found the body of 69-year-old owner of the house. The fire destroyed the roof and floors on the total area of 70 square meters, damaged walls and household items. Likely cause of the tragedy was the violation of fire safety rules at operation of heating furnaces and flues. In connection’connection with this, rescuers warn: in no case do not overheat and do not leave unattended heating devices, make sure that chimneys and furnaces are not’appeared cracked and take care of timely repairs.
