In the Transcarpathian region Tyachiv police officers are suspected of illegal retention of minors in the detention facility
Tacso local Prosecutor's office included information in the Unified register of pre-trial investigation on the fact of obviously illegal detention, officers of Tyachiv police Department of the Main Directorate of the National police in the Transcarpathian region of their minor citizen (paragraph 1 of article 371 of the criminal code of Ukraine). As the head of the local Prosecutor's office Tyachiv Stepan Zhovnir, Tasco local Prosecutor's office, during the verification of the legality of placement and detention of persons in temporary detention facility Tyachiv police Department, established that on 28 March this year, workers Tyachiv police Department SEPL in the Transcarpathian region, in violation of the code of criminal procedure of Ukraine on suspicion of committing criminal offence of medium severity, illegally detained as article 208 criminal procedure code of Ukraine and placed in the temporary detention facility of juveniles born in 1999. The sanction of specified article provides deprivation of the right to occupy certain positions or engage in certain activities for a term up to p'five years, or by restriction of liberty for a term up to three years.
