Citizens are encouraged to join to participate in the all-Ukrainian month's campaign of the red cross
1 To 30 April will take place the traditional all-Ukrainian red cross month. During the campaign in the cities, districts and villages of the region there are activities planned for the collection and provision of humanitarian, financial assistance to internally displaced persons and vulnerable populations. To participate possible by purchasing the brand of the red cross Society or making a contribution-donation (g/g 260050000254438 Ukrsotsbank), and also to bring to the office of the Chernivtsi city organization of red cross Society of Ukraine (vul.Mayakovsky,31) hygiene products, foods (cereals, vegetables, canned), clothes. Background: the annual all-Ukrainian red cross month, during which regional, city and district organizations of the red cross Society of Ukraine carried out work on the collection and provision of humanitarian and financial assistance to the most vulnerable categories of the population, was established by the Presidium of the Board of the red cross Society in 2001. The campaign is held with the aim of improving living conditions and social protection for the most vulnerable segments of the population and the formation of public opinion on the need for constant attention to the problems of the elderly, the disabled, internally displaced persons, patients with tuberculosis and AIDS, street children and orphans. In 2014 during the month were collected and provided assistance to vulnerable population totaling over 18 million UAH., and in 2015 – more than 25 million.
