In the Rivne region rescuers trained teachers the basics of life safety
31 March employees Kuznetsov urban sector of the Main Directorate DSNS Ukraine in Rivne region met with the teaching staff of secondary school ¹3 of I-III stages of the city Kuznetsovsk. During the meeting the rescuers drew the attention of the employees of the institution on the necessity of education in children of skills of safe behaviour, demonstrate this by example caution in the use of fire, domestic appliances, and other potentially dangerous items and substances. «Best of all doing work with children in a playful way. This will help the child to understand information and to remember’to remember her", - said the lifeguard. Also the rescue workers told what to do in case of fire or other emergency events in the school or a school elsewhere with mass stay of citizens. In addition, it was mentioned about the order of actions in case of detection of suspicious objects, which is especially important in connection’connection with the increased frequency of such cases in the region. In the framework of the event the rescuers familiarized the teachers with the use of fire extinguishers, which will help to extinguish fire at the initial stage of combustion. However, during the conversation, the staff of Civil service on emergency situations drew the particular attention of teachers to the testing of the plans of evacuation of people from the institution in case of fire. After the meeting, all participants received educational campaign and prevention materials on key issues of civil protection, code of conduct, in case of detection of explosive hazards and fire safety, which will surely help teachers in conducting lessons on the basics of life safety. Rescuers are confident that the result of such meetings – healthy’I and the safety of the children, because teachers play a significant role in their upbringing.
