Transcarpathian region: Donetsk journalists got acquainted with the work of the regional headquarters of the Transcarpathian region on social security of citizens of Ukraine who moved from the temporarily occupied territories and areas of ATO

April 1, in the Transcarpathian regional state administration held a meeting of the regional headquarters of the Transcarpathian region on social security of citizens of Ukraine who moved from the temporarily occupied territories and areas of ATO. In addition to representatives of institutions and agencies also took part in a mass media of Donetsk region. This event was held in the framework of the project «the Formation of a proactive civil position of the residents of Donetsk and improving diversity in the region thanks to the press tours and awareness-raising campaigns in the media". It was initiated by public organization «Donetsk press club". During the meeting the participants reviewed a number of important issues concerning social security of citizens of Ukraine who moved from the temporarily occupied territories and areas of ATO. Among them: pensions and health care, and improved living conditions. As noted in his report, the Deputy head of Department DSNS of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region Bogdan Ilkovich, regional headquarters in the area was registered 4697 persons from the temporarily occupied territories and areas of ATO. As at 31 March of the current year on the territory of the region is 4078 people ( 3797 people from Luhansk and Donetsk regions, and 281 are from Crimea). During the period of regional headquarters, 619 persons had registered out of area (168 returned to Lugansk, 319 in Donetsk and 132 people went to other areas or abroad). Employees of regional headquarters around the clock is carried out reception of citizens and coordinate them in different patterns for solving problems connected with payment of pensions, targeted benefits, registration, obtaining certificates of temporary residence or stay, of the Ukrainian and foreign passports; provision of free medicines, vouchers to health improvement for children and adults; receiving humanitarian aid from charitable and volunteer organizations and other types of assistance. Further reports were made by the representatives of departments of social protection of population of Transcarpathian regional employment center, the main offices of the state migration service and the Pension Fund, Department of health’I and others. The participants of the conversation also gave exhaustive answers to the questions of media representatives concerning adaptation to new living conditions on the territory of Transcarpathian region temporarily displaced persons.
