In Zhytomyr held a workshop for social workers
Last week, the Zhytomyr regional center of social services for family, children and youth brought together with representatives of the organizations of the social partners held a training seminar for specialists of city and district centers of social services for family, children and youth with the aim of raising the level of competence on the implementation of preventive work with families, children and young people. During the seminar the participants received information about the General epidemiological situation on HIV-infection/AIDS in the region and the dynamics of its spread which developed in Ukraine and the Zhytomyr region, the specifics of counseling the individual client groups (children, minors, pregnant women). Also learned about the organization of work on prevention of HIV/AIDS, rapid HIV testing and social support of HIV-infected persons, AIDS patients and the number on the dispensary narcological service drug, alcohol addicts region, the prevalence of dependency in the area. One of the important issues discussed during the event, – the peculiarities of social work with family members who have infectious skin disease, the main preventive measures to prevent specialists of infection diseases.
