Chernihiv: rescuers urge citizens not to provoke fires in ecosystems!
Since the beginning of week on territory of Ukraine recorded a significant increase in temperature. Given this, and the fact that people have started to clean their garden plot, to burn the remains of dry vegetation on the territory of the state, an increase in the number of fires in ecosystems. So, only for last days in Ukraine there were 387 fires, a significant proportion of which are recorded in natural ecosystems. Since the beginning of April, the rescuers gschs already eliminated the burning of dead wood and grasses’wooden litter in the regions of Ukraine. So, on 3 April, the Kyiv rescuers eliminated the burning grasses’wooden flooring on an area of about 400 sqm in the city Uzin. On the same day, in Ivankov district of Kyiv region rescuers liquidated ignition of grasses’wooden flooring on an area of about 2 ha. In addition, on 3 April in Zhytomyr divisions of gschs liquidated 5 fires in ecosystems. In particular, the ignition of a dry grass in the open territory occurred in Ruzhinskaya, Zhytomyr, Andrushivka district of the oblast. At Lubyanka Belokurskogo region of the Luhansk region there was a fire of dry grass, there was a threat of ignition of a house. The fire was liquidated on time on an area of about 1.5 ha. Each year fires in natural ecosystems cause significant damage to the state and, primarily, to the environment, can cause fires buildings, destroying power lines, gas and oil pipelines, forestry plantations. Most often fires in natural ecosystems arise from human negligence and carelessness. Especially an increasing number of such fires in the spring and summer. Therefore, the purpose of prevention of emergence of fires in natural ecosystems rescuers carry out preventive work with citizens. To participate in the event are invited also representatives of mass media to convey critical messages and warnings to the largest possible number of people. Employees of the rescue Service is reminding people about the dangers of fires in open territories and during cleaning of gardens, the burning of dry grass and debris. Rescuers emphasize the need for strict observance of safety rules during visit to forests, as a violation of elementary rules of fire safety can cause large-scale fires and the tragic consequences. In addition, rescuers are reminded that the unauthorized burning of vegetation or its residue is strictly prohibited. Dear citizens!
